Data & logging

What the gateway stores about your requests — and what it doesn't.

The gateway is designed to bill accurately without retaining your prompts.

What is stored

Each request records one row of metadata:

FieldDescription
Wallet & API keyWhich wallet/key made the request
ModelModel ID used
Token countsPrompt and completion token totals
Cost breakdownDownstream + platform cost
Billing amountsAmount charged and reserved
Latency & modeResponse time, streaming or not
ErrorError string, if the request failed
TimestampWhen the request was made

What is NOT stored

Prompt and completion content is not persisted. The gateway does not write your messages or the model's responses to its database — only the token counts and billing metadata above.

Upstream providers

Requests are forwarded to the selected upstream provider (Gemini, Bedrock, Kimi, MiniMax, …). Those providers apply their own data-handling and retention policies to the content they receive. Choose models accordingly for sensitive workloads.
